Blue Moon Lacrosse
SHOOTIN" GALLERY

This is going to be very interesting skills learning session. The coaches are really going to get into the mechanics of different shooting styles, different shots and many other little details depending what level the players are at this season. This will allow you to take home and practice these skills and become a better player.
Email me at BluemoonLacrosse@aol.com about the SHOOTIN' GALLERY INFORMATION. YOU CAN EITHER SIGN UP FOR ONE OR BOTH SESSIONS. When signing up please let me know what size t-shirt you wear. Sessions are already filling up so don't wait!
Blue Moon Goalie Clinic
Starts October 3 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon. For those of you who signed up, there is a map and address on the registration form, so you can map quest the address. The goalie clinic is limited so those who signed up will be getting a lot of coaching and attention and also share game situations with the players of the 5 day camp. Again, we have an excellent coaching staff for the small group of goalies attending.
PS: There is also a second Saturday, October 10th. for the goalies. Same place and time.
Email me with any questions you may have about what's going on, insite and anything else. BlueMoonLacrosse@aol.com. Or leave a message here for us at BML. See you Saturday.
Week Three
Good day to all you laxers. Last week we had back alot of the ill, ivy poisoned and athletes from other sports who had try outs the week before. Welcome back. This past weeks camp session let the players use some of their previous learned skills. This coming week is week 4 of 5 sessions. I have seen improvement skill wise amongst the players but also I have seen confidence build in many of the young men. The guys finished the session by having a controlled scrimmage which finished in a tie. Look for some new things in week four. See you Saturday.

"Day One" The initial camp session went extremely well. We limited the amount of players to have a better coach to player ratio. We had players between 7th. and 10th. grade. attend. The Blue Moon coaching staff came from the University of Minnesota. The curriculum for the camp was very organized. The parents who attended were very impressed with the organization and the quality of interaction with each of the players the coaches offered.
At the end of the first session there was a player and parent that commented her son had played lacrosse since the third grade ( he is in high school now) and that he had learned more in the first session than he had learned all of last year. Looks like we are going in the right direction.

Week 2 of the session we had a few players missing due to poison ivy, the flu that has been going around and other family activities. The coaches tried to do their plan for the day but, not wanting to over work the players and for their safety we ended the session 15 minutes early.

Looking forward to this weeks session and seeing the players return who were out.
